The unique shape of the housing provides a means of gathering and routing the power cables of the appliances plugged into the sockets. The mains cable of the extension can be wound around the base for storage. Surge protection protects valuable equipment from electrical spikes, surges and mains bourne frequency interference.

Energenie PMS is a power management system with advanced surge protection. Four sockets are individually manageable from a personal computer via the USB port interface.
Each of these 4 sockets can be switched on/off either manually, by a pre-programmed timer or by user-defined events. The unit event timer schedule can be pre-programmed and then disconnected from the managing computer to use elsewhere.
